April Book Haul

I bought some books.

Yeah... I have a book buying problem. When I see new books come out I don't want to have to wait for them. I want to buy them now! It can never hurt to have a variety of choice when it comes to choosing the next book to read, right?

Starters by Lissa Price


Starters is about Callie, after losing her parents in the spore wars. Trying to survive she runs into the Old Man. He hires teens to rent out their bodies to Enders, seniors who want to be young again. While renting out her body out Callie wakes up. Callie learns of her renters intentions and the Prime Destinations evil plans.



Article 5 by Kristen Simmons


Note the cat biting my hand in the picture, cheeky! Article 5 is about Ember. The bill of rights has been replaced with the Moral Statutes. Embers mother is arrested for beaching Article 5, Children are considered valid citizens only when conceived by a married man and wife. Ember must find her Mother no matter what.



Blood Red Road by Moira Young


Blood Red Road follows Saba. Her brother has been stolen and she races across the dustlands to find him. Teamed up with Jack and a gang called the Free Hawks, Saba faces challenges that could change her life.



The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith


Hadley has missed Hera flight to London, and is stuck at the airport. Hadley meets Oliver, who is British and also on her new flight. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, takes place over 24 hours, following Hadley'
And Oliver's adventure and finding love at first sight.


The Maze Runner by James Dashner


When the doors lift Thomas only knows his first name. He is welcomed to the Glade by other boys and discovers that he is in the center of a terrifying maze. The boys will do whatever it takes to find out why they are there.


The Name of the Stars by Maureen Johnson


Rory flies to London to go to boarding school. There is a sudden outburst of Jack the Ripper type Murders. Rory has seen the prime suspect on the school grounds but her friend Jazza never seen anyone.

I'm not sure when I'll get to most of these books,but I know the Maze Runner is the next thing I'll read. I can't wait to read them. Let me know if you have. Were they any good?
